Christ the Redeemer
Description:
The Corcovado(Hunchback) Mountain is one of the most famous postcards from Rio and one of the Wonders of the World. It is located in the Tijuca National Park, the largest urban forest in the world, located 10 minutes from downtown. The tour will leave the hotel riding along the beaches of Rio, the Lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas and the Rebouças tunnel, a 2.7 km long complex that links the southern and northern parts of the city. Reaching the Cosme Velho train station we will embark in a Swiss cogwheel train up to the top, 710metres high. The view is breathtaken and we can see the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema, the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, Botanical Garden, Maracanã, Financial District and the Sugar Loaf Mountain.
